Cooling Fan 2 Control Circuit

Select a Code:

The Check Engine Code #P0481 is related to the Cooling Fan #2 Control Circuitry and will get triggered if the fan is not running or has a voltage lower or higher than anticipated. Problems could be with the fan itself, in the relay for Fan #2 or for Fan #3 or a short in the wiring harness between the ground and Fans 2 or 3. Ensure that the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is also operational and doesn't have any shorts related to it.
